L’era successiva is the title of a group of works that was born in 2008 and on which I am still working. The thought that liven up this work refers to the severe economic crisis that has shocked all parameters. I imagine there will be a subsequent age in which many things will be changed. I represent this imagination with landscapes inhabited by mysterious presences, gaseous apparitions, marks left by unknown passages. In addition to these landscapes, I place female figures with a double look, provided by an extreme aution. I get back an ancient mythology, dating to 7,000 years ago: in the Mediterranean basin, female deities, with four eyes, they were ordered to protect the four cardinal points of the Earth. In this way, come full circle: after 7000 years, once again, it is necessary to devolve upon women the task of protecting the Earth.
